TD Ameritrade Olympics Campaign: #ItAddsUp
TD Ameritrade saw the Sochi Olympics as an opportunity to launch an ambitious campaign about their new financial advisory services and asked our team at Huge for a big idea. Our socially-led campaign, #ItAddsUp, was featured in the New York Times, The Drum, as well as on the TODAY Show. It was the brand’s most successful social media campaign ever, and produced TD Ameritrade's most profitable quarter ever--and it won the Huge’s first Clio ever.

The responsive digital hub of the #ItAddsUp campaign explained how achieving big goals is easier when you break them down into small steps. In real time, it tracked the use of the hashtag, then later the total funds raised for the Next Generation Athletes. It also dynamically pulled in social content from all channels, and connected the campaign to TDA's financial services.


We sent a team to Sochi to capture content as moments unfolded on the ground, and produced over 700 posts over the course of the campaign. Some of my favorite images came directly from the Team USA Athletes and Next Generation Athletes themselves.
